As far as history of April fool’s day is concerned, no one is certain about its actual origin. Although some believe that it began in the year 1582 in France when Charles IX introduced the new calendar known as Gregorian calendar. Once this calendar was introduced, the New Year shifted from March 25-April 1 to January 1. During those days the messages used to travel at an extremely low speed because the modes of communication were not that advanced as compared to today.
