Mythology Greek Gods And Godesses
There were several Greek goddesses and gods according to the texts of Greek mythology. There is a large collection of stories that explain the bravery of the heroes, and also how they became gods after completing their mortal life. Some of the goddesses were considered as the most beautiful women that ever lived.

All the Olympian gods and goddesses looked like humans, but instead of blood, they have ichor running in their veins. The Greek gods and goddesses had human faults and passions. However, they had to take responsibility for their deeds.
According to Greek mythology, there were 12 main Olympian gods living on top of Mount Olympus. Zeus was the king of the Olympian gods. Hera was Zeus' wife and was considered to be the queen. Hera was the goddess of stars and sky, while Zeus was the god of god of the sky, weather, kings, fate, and law and order.
Apollo is the sun god. He was also the god of medicine, music, health, prophecies and everything that the Greek believed in. He is the son of Zeus and also known to be very handsome.
Aphrodite was the goddess of love and beauty and she was married to Hephaestus who Eros is her son and she was known to be the most beautiful Greek goddess.
Ares is the god of war, and bloodshed. He is the brother of Athena and the son of Zeus. He also had an affair with Aphrodite.
Athena is the goddess of wisdom, strategy, warfare, and reason. She is the daughter of Zeus.
Demeter is the goddess of agriculture, grain and harvest. She is the daughter of Rhea, the sister of Zeus.
Dionysus is the god of celebrations, wine and merriment.
Hades is the god of the Underworld.
Hephaestus is the god of fire and forges. He was the father of Pandora. He married Aphrodite, but she did not love him at all as he was deformed and instead had an affair with Ares.
