Later as Finnish speakers shifted to Finland, the Sami had to shift to the arctic region.

Finland has been known for creating some great artists and museums in the whole world. Art has always been considered with great respect and appreciation. The number of well built art museums does say a lot. No other nation would show so much of interest in this particular field the way.
Let us understand the ancient art of Finland by just learning a few things about the largest museum situated at Helsinki. This museum consists of 2 art schools. One for applied art and the other for displaying collections of Finnish society. This museum was open to the people in 1888. However in the year 1939, the art society was taken over by a new foundation called Fine Arts Academy and established a fine art gallery in the year 1990.The building was then renovated following which the Academy of Fine Arts and University of Art and Design moved out of Ateneum’s premises.More...
