It is worth mentioning that Eiffel tower was built in the capital city for an international exhibition which was a world fair for displaying the unique and the most beautiful things along with the advanced technology used by France. The construction started off in the year 1887, on 26th of January, and it got completed after two years on March 31, 1889. It took almost around 2 years, 2 months and 5 days to complete this brilliant piece of art.
It was built primarily for the world exhibition but it included various other reasons as well. It was constructed because the date was a celebration for competing hundred years of the French revolution. People along with the higher authorities of France desired to celebrate this great day by making their nation even more beautiful.
Eiffel Tower then became one of the most amazing buildings not only in France but also in the whole world. It was then included in the Seven Wonders of the World. Another reason included the advancement in the area of science. Due to its height, it could be used easily for experiments including the pressure, temperature, and radio telegraphy.
