How Tall Is The Statue Of Liberty ?
The Statue of Liberty is a neoclassical colossal structure, standing tall at the Liberty Island, New York Harbor, United States. It depicts Roman goddess of freedom, Liberta, bearing a torch in one hand and tabula ansata, which is actually a law evoking tablet. 354 steps connect the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty to its crown, which was shut down after September 11, 2001 attacks. The inside of the crown has 25 windows, enabling viewers 25 different panoramic views of the New York City. Access to this place was started again on 4th July 2009. Each of the seven rays of the crown is 9 feet in height. About 100 pounds of copper is used for the Statue, which contributes to its total weight of 450,000 pounds.
